- Evaluate each project/situation/facet from the point of view of the needs of all end-users
- Determine the point(s) of critical value from which the paramount moods/colours can be chosen in accordance with the project's aims and expectations
- Determine main and subsidiary moods
- Assess what other colours would be required to satisfy image profile
- Create palette (a range of specific hues and tones) and advise accordingly
Why is colour so cost effective? Usually the cost of changing or improving a colour scheme in a given project is very small compared to the overall cost of the project itself. But the choice of colour can have far-reaching effects. In some situations it may well be the most important factor.
